TACTICAL CARBINE

Tactical Carbine

This course is designed to develop skills for the student who would like to learn to use his/her carbine as a primary firearm in a tactical environment. The course will start where you left off in Introduction to Tactical Carbine. You will soon advance to skills that will reduce your reaction time, allow you to shoot faster with higher degree of accuracy, and increase your confidence with your carbine. This course will cover shooting in adverse positions as well as multiple target acquisition and engagement and shooting on the move.

• Firearms Safety rules

• Weapons handling skills

• Combat mindset

• Gear selection and placement

• Fundamentals of Marksmanship

• Proper sight usage (Red Dot and Irons)

• Recoil management

• Proper stance and grip

• Reloads (Combat and Tactical)

• Malfunction identification and clearing Immediate action drills, Remedial action drills

• Multiple target engagement

• Adverse shooting positions (Standing, Kneeling, Prone, Ports and Barricades)

• Shooting on the move (Multiple directions)



 

Requirements:

Prerequisites: PSA Tactical Carbine 1 or equivalent.
Ammunition Requirements: 500 rounds Carbine Gear: Rifle / Carbine M4, AR-15, AK, ect. 3 magazines and magazine carriers/pouches. Knee Pads, Eye and Ear Protection, baseball cap and Tactical gloves.

Course Completion

At Patriot Shooting Academy LLC. we take pride in all of our students. Upon completion of the course each student will receive a course certificate, detailed course outline and personalized training guide.
